The protection of the guardians means not to take an oath unnecessarily, because the greatest virtue of a Muslim is that he does not lie, but always speaks the truth, telling the truth. - But if the practice of swearing becomes common, it will not only waste time, but will also lose trust in each other and create an atmosphere of mistrust, which is against good relations and society. In the Holy Qur'an, the rules of swearing are described as follows:
- Translation: Allah will not impeach you for your empty oaths, but He will impeach you for those (oaths) which you have taken with a firm intention, so his expiation is to feed ten poor people, the average person who You feed your family or clothe them or free a slave, then if you do not find it, then fast for three days.) This is yours. There is an atonement of sorts,
- The kind of expiation is to feed ten poor people if you want, clothe ten poor people if you want, free a slave or a slave girl who is free from all kinds of defects, if he does not have the power of any of these three things. If so, keep three fasts. The fourth thing regarding oaths is that the type of expiation to be paid, that is to swear an oath regarding a future act, is called Yamin Khidlata.
- Taking a false oath on a past incident is called Yamin Ghamus, there is no expiation for this oath, but Islam has disapproved of this oath, it is a great sin. Taking the correct oath according to one's opinion in daily conversation, but the incident is not like this, is called yamen laghu. Allah, the Exalted, has forgiven such an oath.
- False swearing is a great sin and deceiving humanity, and Allah will not show mercy to the one who swears falsely on the Day of Resurrection. False oaths or oaths cause individual and collective ruin. We should pray and practically try to avoid them.
