- (a) Faith: (1) Belief in monotheism
- To be able to explain the meaning and significance of Tawheed, obligation and importance.
- To know the meaning of shirk.
- Know the types of monotheism in the light of Quran and Sunnah.
- Be aware of the basic types of Shirk.
- To understand the effects of Tawheed and the harms of polytheism in practical life.
- You can only strengthen your faith in Allah by getting familiar with the belief of Tawheed.
- Knowing and believing that Allah is the only Lord, he can turn to Him in all matters.
- Be aware of the promise of Shirk and make a conscious effort to stay away from it.
- The literal meaning of Tawheed is to believe and know oneness. In the terminology of Shari'ah, to believe that Allah is one and unique in His attributes and all attributes and perfections and to act according to His requirements is called Tawheed. The will of all is the creation of Allah Ta'ala and operates according to His orders. There is no god in the universe except him. He is free from all defects and possessor of all perfections. He alone is worthy of worship. He has no partner in His attributes and actions.
- The first belief in Islamic beliefs is monotheism. From Adam (peace be upon him) to the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), all the prophets who came to this world preached the oneness of Allah. A person cannot enter the circle of Islam without confessing the belief in Tawheed and the Oneness of Allah Ta'ala.
- Aqeedah Tawheed is strongly emphasized in the Qur'an. One of the Surahs of the Holy Qur'an is called Al-Ikhlas and Al-Tawheed, in which the Oneness of Allah is described. This Surah is as follows:
- Translation: Hay Prophet (P.B.U.H), say: Allah is One. Allah is without need. He is not the father of anyone. He is not the son of anyone. And there is no one equal to Him. (Surah Al-Ikhlas (47)
- The belief of Tawheed has priority over all matters of religion. No worship and action is accepted without the belief of Tawheed. The most important right of Allah on His servants is to believe in His Oneness. Whoever adopts the belief of monotheism, Allah will save him from the fire of hell. The description of Tawheed belief is that Allah Ta'ala is recognized as one and only in Lordship, Divinity, Names and Attributes.
- Types of monotheism: (1) Monotheism: Tawheed Lordship means that people believe that Allah is the Creator, Owner and Sustainer of everything. There is no other partner in it. Allah says:
- Translation: It is Allah Who created you, then He gave you sustenance, then He gives you death, then He will give you life. Is there anyone like that among your partners? Glorified and Exalted is He (Allah) who can do any of them. (Surah al-Rum: 40)
- (3) Tawheed Isma Wasfat: Believing Allah Almighty to be one and alone in His Names and Attributes is Tawheed Names and Attributes. It is also unique.
